This BA Manager position will support a team of Business Analysts that work closely with the implementation and maintenance of an existing cloud-based big data analytic solutions for MedeAnalytics health care provider clients. The individual will collaborate with fellow analysts, account managers, project managers, product owners and engineering/QA as needed to support the full life cycle of analytic solution development to support our provider clients in using and understanding the solution. The Business Analyst Manager will lead a team of approximately 20 Business Analysts. He/She will work directly with client business teams to understand business needs and questions, review solution capabilities with the client, document client requests for product team feedback loop, conduct extensive data exploration, advise and consult clients on product capabilities, author technical specifications required by the product/engineering team and assist in the coordination the releases for new development. Responsibilities:
Manage a team of approximately 20 Business Analysts Participate as needed in client-facing meetings to assist in gathering and documenting detailed technical product requirements for health care provider business intelligence/analytic applications Serve as all-encompassing point of escalation for Client issues from BAs Develop a thorough understanding of client-specific data structures and content, and provide guidance and consulting to conform data to product standards Collaborate with product owners and development engineers to coordinate the implementation and QA of technical specifications Document and disseminate both internal documentation as well as client-facing and business-appropriate reference materials that reflect the detailed configuration of client-specific MedeAnalytics solutions Develop comprehensive acceptance criteria Conduct defect resolution process All other duties as assigned Essential Education, Experience and Interests:
Bachelor's degree, with either a quantitative (e.g. actuarial, statistics, economics, engineering, computer science, applied math, etc.) or a health care major (e.g. health administration, public health, medicine, etc.). IIBA Certification preferred Foundational understanding of relational database concepts and OLAP technology Experience and working knowledge of agile software development methodology SQL, SAS, Microsoft Excel (advanced), Microsoft Project, and Microsoft PowerPoint Deep knowledge of health care-specific datasets (e.g. hospital revenue cycle transactions, claims, eligibility, etc.) reporting/analytic uses (e.g. patient detailed records, authorizations, payer volumes, etc.) and terminology (e.g. HL7 and 270/271 transactions, diagnosis/procedure codes, insurance plan code/descriptions, medical necessity, etc.) Passionate about producing high-quality work and forming strong, trusting relationships, both internally and externally at all levels of an organization Excellent team-player attitude, with ability to consistently demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, mutual respect and accountability to others Strong analytical and judgment skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and follow through Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Business AnalysisEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
